    The Food
    Las Tortillas
The tortillas were good, but not spectacular. What you would buy a grocery store.
    2 Ay Carambas

            El Meat
Riley tried the carnitas, and they were tender, and they were very well seasoned to bring out the essence of the meat.
Luis tried the steak, and it was pleasantly tender and the spices enhanced the flavor of the meat favorably.
    4 Ay Carambas

          Los Toppings
There were not many toppings available, and the quality was average at best.
    1  Ay Carambas

          Las Aguas
There were no aguas available, which was a disappointment, but they did have Jarritos which were a nice replacement.
    2  Ay Carambas

    The Place
    La Atmosphere
It looks like a former gas station, turned out into a Smoke Shop and a hip Burrito stand.  It is conveniently located between Provo and Orem, and the place is very clean with comfy chairs.
    3  Ay Carambas

    La Traditionality
MWB had a chunky combination of American HQ pictures of National Parks and ESPN on the TV, while featuring abstract Latin art and some sweet Nortenas on the radio.
    3  Ay Carambas

    El Price
The prices seemed to be a bit more on the expensive side, probably because they provide meat from humanely treated animals as well as vegan options.   Average taco price was $4.
    2  Ay Carambas

    El Customer Service
Brian, the owner, helped us as the cashier and waiter. He no habla Espanol! But he was friendly and even spent some time to chat with us.
    3 Ay Carambas

Final Word. These are are a tasty blend of Mexican and American taco standards. You don't need to know Spanish to come here. The food is wonderful but has a slightly more American slant to it. It's unique point is the claims to organic and humanely produced food making it a good choice for anyone interested in health or justice. It gets a well deserved 20 Ay Carambas.

    1. Having just returned from BYU Ed. Week, I was told that Diego's Taco Shop on/near University in Provo is the best. In classes nonstop, I unfortunately did not make it there myself, but extend the honors to you to report back.
      Buena suerte,

    2. I have visited Diego's. It is slightly more expensive then some of the others but the tacos are indeed superb. I will have to do a return visit to judge them by our standardized criteria.
